How to put yourself in a position to receive God’s best for you

Faith is the currency of heaven.
We stand at a crossroads, with two paths before us: one of obedience to God's will and the other leading to rebellion and destruction.
As a loving Father, God has abundant blessings in store for you. Many of these blessings stem from our connection with Him through faith in Jesus.
However, some of the blessings that God has in store for us we may never experience unless we properly position our hearts and faith before Him.
There is nothing we need to do to earn God’s love - or cause God to love us any more or any less. However, God has outlined certain principles and expectations that we must fulfill in order to receive the blessings He desires to bestow upon us.
It's important to note that these requirements aren't about earning God's favor or blessings through our efforts. Rather, they serve as guidelines for living in alignment with His will.
God's blessings are freely given out of His love for us, without any expectation of repayment.
- Unlike a transactional exchange, where reciprocity is anticipated, God's blessings are pure expressions of His grace and kindness towards us.
God has graciously provided His written Word as a guidebook for life, leaving us to choose whether to accept or reject His instructions.
The deeper our understanding of His Word, the better equipped we are to navigate a life that glorifies Him.
God's promises are abundant for those who align with His will. Consider these promises and conditions outlined in Scripture:
Psalm 35:27: Those who support righteousness rejoice in the Lord's magnification and delight in the prosperity of His servants.
Psalm 84:11: The Lord is a protector and provider, granting grace, favor, and future glory to those who walk uprightly, withholding no good thing from them.
John 10:10: Jesus came to grant abundant life, contrasting with the enemy who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy.
2 Corinthians 8:9: Despite His richness, Jesus became poor to enrich humanity with grace and spiritual blessings.
Deuteronomy 8:18: Remember that it is the Lord who empowers you to attain wealth, fulfilling His covenant promises.
Proverbs 3:9-10: Honor the Lord with your wealth, and He will bless you abundantly, filling your storage places and overflowing your vats.
Malachi 3:10: Bring your tithes, and God will abundantly bless you, demonstrating His faithfulness.
Proverbs 19:17: Compassion for the poor is lending to the Lord, who promises repayment.
James 1:27: True religion involves caring for the vulnerable while maintaining purity from worldly contamination.
Exodus 22:22-24: God fiercely protects the vulnerable, promising severe consequences for their oppressors.
Deuteronomy 28:10-13: Obedience to God brings prosperity, prominence, and protection, displaying His faithfulness.
These are just a few examples from Scripture of the promised rewards we can enjoy simply by satisfying the conditions of God’s word. We position ourselves to be blessed by obeying what God requires of us.
- God is still the same today. He has not changed. He leads us and guides us in the way we should go. He gives us divine instruction in order to receive all He has for us…just as He did throughout the Bible.
To position ourselves for these blessings, faith is key. As demonstrated by Abraham and Jehoshaphat, obedience and trust pave the way for God's favor.
Believing in God's promises may not always be easy, but it is necessary.
Even when His timing seems delayed, we must remain patient and unwavering in our faith, knowing that His promises will come to fruition in due time.
- We have the opportunity anticipate a future filled with abundant blessings by living lives that reflect the character of Jesus and sharing His love with others.
Today is the day to align ourselves with God's will and open our hearts to the blessings He has in store 🤍
God created you.
He knew you before you were formed in the womb. (Psalm 139)
He has a plan for you. (Jeremiah 29: 11)
He offers you eternal life. (John 6:47).
He promises to fill you with His presence. (John 14: 16-18).
He has gifted you to make a difference. (Ephesians 2:10).
The question is, have you allowed Him to take possession of you?
As we position ourselves for God's blessings, let us remember to give generously and live with integrity.
So be patient in waiting for God's timing and remember that blessings come to those who serve others and remain faithful.
